More than 13,800 corporate runners and walkers, together with their fellow employees, helped raise $60,000 by participating in the IOA Corporate 5k presented by News 13 and Bright House Sports on Thursday, April 18, in downtown Orlando.

Charles Brenner, CCIM of C. Brenner, Inc. Commercial Real Estate, Winter Park, announces the sale of the former La-Z-Boy Furniture Showroom at 8550 S. Highway 17-92. Brenner represented the buyer, Coolstuffinc.com, which specializes in board games, card games and disc golf products in national and international online retail sales. Ed Rogner, CCIM with Realty Capital represented the seller. The sale price for the 20,000 square-foot retail/showroom was $1,700,000.

Ena Heller has been named the Bruce A. Beal director of the Cornell Fine Arts Museum (CFAM) at Rollins College. Heller joins the Rollins community having most recently served as founding director of the Museum of Biblical Art (MOBIA) in New York City.

Family Promise of Greater Orlando is a proud 2012 recipient of a $48,630 grant from the Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation. The funds from this grant enabled Family Promise to add and hire a new manager of volunteers services position for the organization.

MinuteClinic, the retail health care division of CVS Caremark (NYSE: CVS), is partnering with Florida Hospital Medical Group (FHMG) to expand access to convenient, affordable health care services in Central Florida. Under the agreement, FHMG physicians will serve as medical directors for a dozen MinuteClinic walk-in medical clinics inside select CVS/pharmacy stores in the city of Orlando and five surrounding counties: Lake, Orange, Osceola, Polk and Seminole.
