The "Tow to Go" program safely removes impaired drivers from the roads during holiday weekends. This program is free and open to both AAA members and non-members and is 100 percent confidential. Call 1-800-AAA-HELP for assistance and a AAA tow truck will take the vehicle and driver home safely. “Tow to Go” is available from July 4-7.

JULY 5

The Winter Park Police Department and the Victim Service Center of Central Florida will host free women’s safety awareness classes for interested women that have a tie to the city of Winter Park. The classes will be offered Thursday, July 5, and Thursday, July 12, from 6-8 p.m. at the WPPD, 500 N. Virginia Ave. Ages 14 and older are welcome. Baldwin Park’s First Friday Festival & Art Stroll will be 6-10 p.m. on Friday, July 6, along New Broad Street in the Village Center. Presented by the Baldwin Park Merchants Association and The Arts Hub Florida, this family-friendly event is free. This event will feature local businesses and some of the region’s emerging and accomplished local artists of all mediums from the Central Florida community creating their works live with original art for sale. There will also be live music.

Orlando-area vegetarians and animal advocates will celebrate the Fourth of July holiday at the Animal Rights Foundation of Florida's 13th annual "Independence for the Animals" potluck picnic. The A&H Associates, volunteer corps of the Art & History Museums – Maitland (A&H), in partnership with Performing Arts of Maitland, continue their Summer Concert Series with a program featuring Evan Taylor Jones at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 13, in the A&H’s Main Garden, 231 W. Packwood Ave. The A&H’s Main Galleries will be open for guests to enjoy the exhibition, “A Day in the Life of the Research Studio,” and shop at the museum store.
