Conscious Mind Records is hosting a “Save Tyler” Benefit Concert from 12-5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at the James R. Smith Neighborhood Center on Bruton Boulevard. The day will feature live music and poetry, along with activities for the entire family. The Calcis are a family of seven whose 12-year-old son, Tyler, has been diagnosed with and is suffering from brittle bone disease, muscular degenerative disorder, growth hormone deficiency and anemia.
