On Thursday, March 10, the Central Florida Anthropological Society meeting will feature Clete Rooney, who is an archaeologist completing his PhD at the University of Florida. He has 16 years of archaeological field experience, supervising field projects in over a dozen states. The 49th annual Morning Star School Auxiliary fashion show, luncheon and silent auction is on Thursday, March 10, at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando at Bonnet Creek. The fashions will be provided by the Stars on the Avenue, featuring Winter Park’s finest retailers who will be presenting the latest spring and summer fashions. All of the proceeds go to benefit Morning Star School, established in 1960 for children who are challenged by Down Syndrome, Spina Bifida, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, and other learning disabilities.
