Friday, Feb. 25, members of the Goldenrod Chamber will come together for an evening of bowling at the Aloma Bowling Center to “strike” up some business. Come early to reserve lanes and get shoes. The First Congregational Church of Winter Park will host a fundraising event on Saturday, Feb. 26, featuring performances by the Orlando Gay Chorus and the church’s own “New Bleaux Band.” “The Big Easy” fundraiser will be held from 4:30-8 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at the church, located at 225 S. Interlachen Ave. Cost for adults 16 and older is $22, children ages 5-15 are $12 and children younger than 5 are free. The event celebrates the church’s new designation as an “Open and Affirming” church that welcomes all members of the community regardless of sexual orientation.
