AARP offers tax help

To celebrate its new $5 million wing, the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art will offer free admission through March 20.

Friday

The Morse Museum invites families to free tours and a craft activity related to the new Tiffany wing from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25.

On Feb. 25-27, members of Overeaters Anonymous (OA) will be gathering at the Sheraton Orlando North, 600 N. Lake Destiny Drive, for the 21st Annual OA Florida State Convention, sponsored by Florida intergroups from around the state. Visit oacfi.org

Friday, Feb. 25, members of the Goldenrod Chamber will come together for an evening of bowling at the Aloma Bowling Center to “strike” up some business. Come early to reserve lanes and get shoes. Sign-up will begin at 5 p.m. Teams can be up to five players for a discounted price of $70 for the whole team. Single players are $15. The First Congregational Church of Winter Park will host a fundraising event on Saturday, Feb. 26, featuring performances by the Orlando Gay Chorus and the church’s own “New Bleaux Band.” “The Big Easy” fundraiser will be held from 4:30-8 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at the church, located at 225 S. Interlachen Ave. Cost for adults 16 and older is $22, children ages 5-15 are $12 and children younger than 5 are free. The event celebrates the church’s new designation as an “Open and Affirming” church that welcomes all members of the community regardless of sexual orientation.
