BASE Camp has partnered with Central Florida Fitness Boot Camp to “Give Cancer the Boot!” On Saturday, Aug. 27, survivors, supporters and fitness junkies alike will gather at Casa Feliz for a 30-minute boot camp session to benefit Central Florida children battling cancer. On Aug. 28 the First Presbyterian Church of Maitland PreSchool will celebrate its 50th anniversary by honoring the school’s founder, Mrs. Liz Carroll, 90, who will receive a proclamation from Maitland.
