Attention scholarship seekers

Rollins College and the Hispanic Heritage Scholarship Fund of Metro Orlando recently announced the establishment of a partnership to award one full-tuition scholarship each year to a new student entering at the Hamilton Holt School at Rollins in the fall under the Rollins Evening Emerging Leaders Scholarship Program. The scholarship will cover the cost of tuition up to five academic years from the time of the award or until graduation, whichever occurs first.

The full-tuition scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate adult student seeking a degree within the Hamilton Holt School at Rollins College. Scholarship applicants must live within a 60-mile radius of Rollins College and be a Florida resident. Although a goal of both partners is to increase the number of Hispanic students at Rollins College, the scholarship award will be made based on applicant qualifications, not ethnicity or racial characteristics. Applications for the REEL scholarship are due May 31.
