Rollins announces latest inductees to Sports Hall of Fame

Rollins College Director of Athletics Pennie Parker has announced the seven newest members of the Rollins Sports Hall of Fame. The Tars will welcome Charlotte Campbell Daughan (women’s golf ’06), Mariana De Biase (women’s golf ’06), Eric Faber (men's basketball '05), Daniell Robertson (men’s soccer ’06 ‘10MBA), Matt Umbers (men’s tennis ’05), and Dan Walters (men’s golf ’06) into its most exclusive club. The executive director of the Kay Yow Cancer Fund and former Columbia women’s basketball head coach Stephanie Glance ’86 will be honored with the Alumni Athletics Achievement Award. The induction ceremony will take place on Thursday, March 10, at the Alfond Inn.

Winter Park resident makes Belmont University dean’s list

Sarina Sutton of Winter Park qualified for the fall 2015 dean's list at Belmont University. Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C. Approximately 30 percent of Belmont's 7,400 students qualified for the fall 2015 dean's list.

Adam Sawicki named to Lehigh University dean’s list

Adam Sawicki of Winter Park was named to the dean's list at Lehigh University in the fall 2015 semester. This status is granted to students who earned a scholastic average of 3.6 or better while carrying at least 12 hours of regularly graded courses.
