Nordstrom Rack to open new Winter Park location

Seattle-based Nordstrom Inc. announced today plans to open Nordstrom Rack at Winter Park Square. The approximately 25,000-square-foot store is scheduled to open in spring 2017. The property is owned by UP Development, LLC. The newly constructed center will be anchored by Nordstrom Rack and Whole Foods Market and will be located near Interstate 4, at the intersection of Lee Road and North Orlando Avenue.

Dance ministry recognized

Dance Ministry of First United Methodist Church of Winter Park, located at 125 N. Interlachen Ave. in Winter Park, recently took the title of Florida Dance Master’s Twinkling Star 2015 Dance Competition. Florida Dance Masters is an organization committed to advancing the art of dance through quality education for teachers and their students. FDM is a community of dance professionals/educators who strive to offer the most up-to-date teaching techniques and standards in a friendly atmosphere where ethics and principles are strong.
