Attorney earns certification

Winderweedle, Haines, Ward & Woodman, P.A. attorney Ryan E. Davis is now board certified in Business Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification. The American Board of Certification is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the public and improving the quality of the bankruptcy bar. The rigorous ABC certification standards, which Davis completed, include a minimum of five years of practicing law, 400 hours of bankruptcy experience, at least 60 hours of continuing bankruptcy legal education and a day-long written examination.

BASE Camp to be honored in Boston

Each year the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center salutes individuals, groups and organizations from across the country and around the world during the one hundred, an annual event celebrating those who are changing the fight against cancer and inspiring others to take action. Winter Park organization BASE Camp Children's Cancer Foundation is among the 100 honorees for 2015 that will be recognized in Boston on Tuesday, May 26.

Maitland resident makes President’s List

Sydney Wilson, Maitland resident and a student at the Pratt Institute, was among more than 1,000 students who made the President's List in the fall 2014 semester. Founded in 1887, Pratt Institute is a global leader in higher education dedicated to preparing its 4,700 undergraduate and graduate students for successful careers in art, design, architecture, information and library science, and liberal arts and sciences.
