The Magic Fan Van event was held at Winter Park Memorial Hospital on April 18. Hospital employees got to take a break from their hectic work days and get in on the basketball fun!

Here are the winners: 4 Rivers Smokehouse was honored with Best Main Course for Chef John Rivers’ Six Shooter Shots. Best Side Dish was presented to The Ravenous Pig for Chef James Petrakis’ unique offering of Smoked Florida Cobia with Watermelon and Radish Relish. Best Dessert was awarded to LUMA on Park for Chef Brandon McGlamery’s Strawberry Milkshake with Hazelnut Crumble and Basil Meringue. Finally, Best Booth Display went to Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt of Winter Park, a first-time participant at the event.

Fueled by four sales that fetched a total of $14.453 million in the first week of February, Fannie Hillman + Associates finished the first quarter of 2011 with 78 closings for nearly $37.2 million. Although first quarter transactions were one less than a comparable period in 2010, sales volume was up a robust 56 percent over last year’s first quarter thanks to an average sale of $476,826.
