Nov. 19, N. Clarke Road: At 12:12 a.m., someone called dispatch to inform the department of a red Toyota "swerving all over the roadway." The caller followed the car until a responding officer arrived on scene. The officer conducted a traffic stop. The officers immediately noticed the female driver's breath smelled like alcohol and that her eyes were red and dilated. When the officer asked the female driver for the car registration, she responded by starting the car. The officer asked her to turn off the car, and she did. When he requested her registration a second and third time, she responded the same. The officer then asked the female to step out of the car and noticed vomit on the driver's side of the floor and bottom part of the door. The female driver was then subjected to a variety of sobriety tests, which she failed.

The officer then handcuffed the male driver after informing him he was being arrested for being in possession of a stolen car, to which the driver responded: "Them f––ing Mexicans gave me a stolen vehicle then asked me to get some beer!" The officer proceeded to read the driver his Miranda Rights, but was interrupted when the driver yelled, "F–– you I am done talking!" Officer from other police departments came to assist with the arrest, as the driver kept resisting. The driver was eventually placed inside the police car.
