The rising star of former Dr. Phillips star defensive back Ha'Sean "Ha Ha" Clinton-Dix continues in an upward trajectory — from Pop Warner to Panther to Green Bay Packer and, most recently, to Pro Bowler.

After Clinton-Dix's big game for the Packers against the Chicago Bears Dec. 18, a game in which he intercepted two passes, he was named the NFC's Defensive Player of the Week. On Tuesday, he was named to his first NFL Pro Bowl.

On the season, Clinton-Dix has a total of five interceptions and 65 tackles — third best on the team.

As luck would have it, Clinton-Dix's first Pro Bowl appearance will be right here in Orlando. The 2017 NFL Pro Bowl will take place at 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, and will be broadcast on ESPN.

Clinton-Dix played his junior and senior seasons at Dr. Phillips after beginning his varsity career at Edgewater.
