The sixth annual Bike From Park to Park takes off from the Central Park West Meadow in Winter Park at 8 a.m. Friday, March 28. Enjoy the scenery, take in the spring weather and get exercise on this guided tour through Winter Park’s streets. Visit cityofwinterpark.org for more information.

MARCH 29

On March 29 the Lake Highland Preparatory School gym will play host to a “wild and crazy” evening: “Live from Lake Highland…It’s Saturday Night” is this year’s spring fling, the premier social event and largest fundraiser held once every two years at Lake Highland. It’s a night of incredible parent camaraderie, live and silent auctions, amazing raffles and fantastic entertainment. It starts at 7 p.m. Visit lhps.org/fling for more information.

Like retro video games? Join the Maitland Public Library for some awesome throwback gaming! We will have loads of systems including Atari, Intellivision, Sega Genesis, NES, SNES, Nintendo 64 and GameCube. It’s from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 29 at the Maitland Public Library.

APRIL 4

Come kick off Maitland Walks with an 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. event April 4 that will provide a free 20-minute walk, a free T-shirt (to the first 150 walkers), pedometer, healthy delicious lunch, and the company with the highest percentage of its employees that walk will win five Fitbit Flex smart-bracelets.
