The Maitland Symphony Orchestra invites you to “Sail Away” at its upcoming concert June 1 at 7:30 p.m. at the Maitland Presbyterian Church, 341 N. Orlando Ave. Portions of the Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 2 will be played by the internationally acclaimed concert pianist Elena Ulyanova. Visit Downton Abbey in England, survive a trip on the fateful Titanic and play with dolphins in the “Dolphin Tale Suite.” “A River Runs Through It” will be the theme as you search for pirates in the Caribbean and sail on “The Beautiful Blue Danube.” Join the MSO for an evening of seafaring music. The Winter Park Diamond Dawgs kick off their summer season against the Sanford River Rats at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, at Sanford Memorial Stadium, located at 1201 Mellonville Road.
