Quick hit: Joe Milton connected with Jordan Underwood and was on the receiving end of a two-point conversion thrown by Jake Clarkson to give the Titans (1-1) a 14-13 lead in the middle of the fourth quarter that they would not relinquish against East River (1-1).

 

Apopka 78, Edgewater 0

Quick hit: With another blowout win to their credit, the Blue Darters (2-0) have outscored opponents 140-7 through eight quarters of action this season.

 

Lake Mary 7, Dr. Phillips 41

Quick hit: Junior defensive back Tanner Ingle returned both an interception and a punt for touchdowns as the Panthers improved to 2-0.

 

Windermere Prep 54 , Village School 14 (in Houston, Texas)

Quick hit: The Lakers (2-0) made the most of their trip to Lone Star State with this blowout victory.

 

Legacy Charter 36, Lake Mary Prep 0

Quick hit: The Eagles (2-0) offense got going in lopsided road win.

 

Evans 34, University 12

Quick hit: A long touchdown run by DeAndre Moody helped to seal the deal for the Trojans, who are 2-0 to start the season.

 

Boone 21, Wekiva 28 

Quick hit: Jaylon Fair scored twice and helped to power the Mustangs (1-1) to their first victory of season. The game was moved to Wekiva because of field conditions at Boone.

 

The First Academy 22, Foundation Academy 7

Quick hit: The Royals (2-0) defense limited Lions (0-2) to only a defensive touchdown on a recovered fumble.

 

Lake Nona 25, Ocoee 22

Quick hit: After trailing 18-0, Ocoee's Konrie Brown scored a touchdown with two minutes to play to give the Knights a 22-18 lead. Lake Nona would score with seconds remaining, though, to drop Ocoee to 0-2 in heartbreaking fashion.

 

Winter Park 50, West Orange 14

Quick hit: Notre Dame commit Jordan Pouncey and the Wildcats ravaged the Warriors (1-1).
