Maitland City Talk

The following resolution was presented to Mr. Greg Gentile of Antonio’s La Fiamma Ristorante, at the Maitland City Council Meeting of Dec. 13, in recognition of Mr. Gentile’s role in bringing Maitland partners together for the expansion of their restaurant:

In 1989, Gentile of Antonio’s Ristorante began a search for authentic Italian cuisine. Lured by Italy’s aura of romance and tradition, he sought out the elements essential to the creation of a restaurant dedicated to the “Authentico Spirito d’Italia”. In his quest for true Italian cuisine, he designed a menu featuring selections representative of regions from Sicily to Lake Como to create a little bit of Italy in Central Florida, more specifically in the heart of Maitland.

Antonio’s Ristorante with the expansion of their Maitland restaurant, has selected partners from throughout the City of Maitland that include New Traditions Bank, Charlan Brock & Associates, Raleigh Design, and Birchmeir Construction.

New Traditions Bank is a locally owned community bank with an office in the heart of Maitland. With dedicated professionals like Maitland’s own Sid Cash, they strive to establish a total relationship with their clients and to service their banking needs in a convenient and efficient manner, understanding that their clients are their most important asset.

Charlan Brock & Associates was, in part, founded by Butch Charlan in 1981. Located in Maitland, the firm has focused on meeting the changing needs of the development industry and has become conditioned to respond to virtually any design challenge they might face. The firm has grown steadily, and takes great personal pride in the establishment of long-term relationships with their clients.

Raleigh Design, founded by Chris Raleigh and based in Maitland, provides interior design services tailored to meet the specific objectives of their clients. For more than three decades, their firm has been engaged in the design of contemporary and themed interiors for both domestic and international clients, and has worked with many of Central Florida’s largest businesses, including Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and Darden Restaurants.

Birchmier Construction is also located in Maitland and designs and builds commercial properties with superior quality. Their mission is based on a genuine partnership philosophy of integrity, honesty, and commitment to their clients. Birchmier is committed to creating working partnerships that encourage collaboration, attention to detail and fiscal responsibility in all they do.

All of these Maitland companies have partnered together to provide financing, architectural and interior design, and construction services to make Antonio’s LaFiamma Ristorante one of the finest restaurants in Maitland and the world.

Therefore, be it resolved, that on Dec. 13, in the city of Maitland, the mayor and City Council do hereby express appreciation and support to Greg Gentile of Antonio’s Ristorante for bringing together New Traditions Bank, Charlan Brock & Associates, Raleigh Design, and Birchmier Construction, for the expansion of their Maitland restaurant.
