1. Park & Plant PUD

The commission will vote on the first reading of ordinance 17-07, which would authorize the addition of 0.36 acres to a 1.15-acre planned unit development titled the Park & Plant PUD. The addition of the 0.36 acres would create a total of 1.51 acres for the whole project and allow for the construction of 32 townhomes in total – an increase from the 24 townhome units approved in the original ordinance from Oct. 13, 2016. The second reading and public hearing for this ordinance is scheduled April 27.

2. Second reading: Dillard Pointe PUD

After being postponed thrice on both Feb. 23, March 9 and March 23 due to the applicant's request, Winter Garden city leaders will vote on ordinance 17-04, which proposes the rezoning of 2.29 acres at 555 N. Dillard St. from City R-1 to City PUD. The property, which used to host a hospital that was demolished more than a decade ago, currently consists of an open grassy area with scattered trees. The applicant is requesting the rezoning to allow for the development of 12 single-family homes, six of which will be allowed to build a garage apartment, or granny flat.
