FIRE FEATURED BY PUBLISHING COMPANY

Brady Publishing, Inc., has been producing educational materials for the Emergency Medical Services community for over 30 years. Throughout the month of June, photographers with Brady will be at the Winter Park Fire-Rescue Department to take all of the photos for the 2012 edition of the Paramedic Principals and Practices textbook. This is the book used as the primary training text for paramedic students throughout the country. Fire Chief Jim White said, “Our department has worked with Brady Publishing in the past, but to be selected for this text book is truly an honor.”

Brady selected Winter Park to be its primary source of photography needs because of their positive experience, the wide range of training techniques and the department’s willingness to work with their team. The textbook will feature a number of the innovative concepts the department has developed and instituted over the past several years. The official shoot began on June 7 and will continue through the end of the month. A Brady photographer and at least one of the authors will be on site to help complete the 2012 edition.
