SPRING POPS CONCERT

The city of Winter Park will proudly host the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra as they present Spring Pops “Epic Dreams of Stage and Screen” on Sunday, March 13, at 7 p.m. in charming Central Park in downtown Winter Park. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy an evening of heart-warming music under the stars. This wonderful performance is made possible by a generous grant from the Charlotte Julia Hollander Trust. The event is free and open to the public.

Winter Park resident Kenneth F. Murrah will be honored at this concert for his outstanding dedication to and support of the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra. A four-term member of the Philharmonic’s Board of Directors, Murrah has purchased charitable gift annuities to fund the Kenneth F. Guest conductor Paul Hostetter leads the Orlando Philharmonic in a program of music from your favorite movies and stage musicals. Audiences will enjoy music from “Carousel”, “The Pirates of the Caribbean”, and “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone”, in addition to beloved songs such as “Strike Up the Band” and “That’s Entertainment”.
