SEPT. 27 CITY COMMISSION MEETING TOPICS OF INTEREST

There will be a City Commission meeting on Monday, Sept. 27, at 3:30 p.m., in City Hall Commission Chambers. Below are a few topics of interest:

LET’S TALK ABOUT TRANSPORTATION!

The city will be holding a Traffic & Transportation Forum on Thursday, Oct. 7 from 6-8 p.m., at the Rachel D. Murrah Civic Center located at 1050 W. Morse Blvd. This forum is for anyone interested in learning about or discussing any transportation- and traffic-related topics.

The meeting will be an open-house format where attendees can view large visuals of the proposed improvements and talk to city staff about any transportation or traffic-related issues. The city will also be showcasing many of the projects already implemented that have proven successful in improving mobility throughout the city.

The Traffic and Transportation Improvement Plan was developed to support the transportation element of the Comprehensive Plan. A copy of the draft Traffic & Transportation Improvement Plan can be found on the city’s website at www.cityofwinterpark.org > Departments > Public Works.
