WINTER GARDEN  One member of the West Orange football team is already headed to the Under Armour All-America Game, but with the help of supporters of the program there could soon be a second.

Looking to join teammate and senior quarterback Woody Barrett, who was presented with his jersey for the game Oct. 29, senior wide receiver Eddie McDoom has advanced to the second round of the game's "Fan Vote For Final 2" contest for the its final roster spots.

McDoom garnered 59% of the vote against his opponent in the first round and is now facing off against Charles Wiley, a defensive end from Georgia, in the second round. Voting for the second round is ongoing through 3 p.m. Nov.16 and can be accomplished by visiting http://www.underarmourgame.com/.

If McDoom is successful in his second round contest, he will be one of eight remaining competitors for the final two roster spots. The bracket began with 32 players.

The Under Armour All-America Game is scheduled for noon on Jan. 2 at the Orlando Citrus Bowl and will be broadcast live on ESPN2.

West Orange hosts Boone in the opening round of the Class 8A State Playoffs Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m.
