Oakland Town Commission to hold work session on food trucks

This discussion will take place prior to the regular town meeting Tuesday, Jan. 26.

The Oakland Town Commission is holding a work session at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, to discuss food trucks. This is a public meeting, and residents are invited, but it will not be available virtually; residents must attend in person at the Oakland Meeting Hall, 221 N. Arrington St.

The regular Town Commission meeting begins at 7 p.m.

During the presentation portion of the meeting, Police Chief John Peek will introduce and swear in new officer Shawn Dozier. Other agenda items include a vote of the consent agenda; the selection of a representative on the MetroPlan Orlando Municipal Advisory Committee; and a vote on public hearings on a right-of-way dedication, an accessory dwelling unit and dark-sky lighting requirements.
