Windermere Prep is offering a chance for dads and daughters to bond over a joint workout this weekend.

The training session will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, in the WPS Weight Room.

Participants will join the Windermere Prep Director of Sports Performance Coach Kurtz for a customized workout designed by Kurtz himself.

Those who attend also will learn more about WPS Sports Performance Program and see their daughter's expertise in strength and conditioning.

The purpose of the event is to empower our young females to know that they can do anything and be strong in all areas of life," Kurtz said. "One of the areas I want them to be strong in is their physical, emotional and mental health.  By showing their father how strong they are in the weight room, will empower them with confidence for all areas of life."

Because of space limitations, the event is limited to 15 dads and 15 daughters.
