Horizon West will soon be home to the New York Beer Project which broke ground on Tuesday, Sept. 7.

The brewery is New York based and has an award-winning craft beer portfolio.

The company currently has two locations, both in New York, and is now opening a third in the west Orlando area.

The new 24,000 square foot venue will feature a gastropub, indoor beer garden, tap room, sidewalk bistro and three NYC themed event spaces.

The actual brewery will be 5,000 square feet and produce a variety of craft beers including classics like the Buckleberry Wheat, Cherry Blonde and Destination IPA, as well as seasonal selections like the Peach Bellini Ale, Sweet Tea IPA and Walter's Jelly Donut.

New selections coming soon include the Cinnabon Cream Ale, Drunkin Punkin and Milky Way Stout.

The brewery itself will pay tribute to  the history of brewing and beer gardens in the United States as well as showcase the re-creation of an early 1900’s indoor beer garden in New York’s Lower East Side.

NYBP will be located near Disney's Magic Kingdom, on the corner of Seidel Road and Seton Creek Blvd.

More details on the unique brewery will be released by NYBP in the coming months.
