Southeastern Food Bank to celebrate 30 years

The food bank is inviting the community to celebrate at its Gospel Through Groceries event.

The Southeastern Food Bank will be celebrating 30 years of serving the community on Friday, Oct. 8. 

The Southeastern Food Bank has served the state of Florida for the past 29 years by serving Jesus Christ, according to the food bank's website. The food bank reaches across 26 countries and has currently distributed 7.1 million pounds of food. 

To celebrate, the organization will be hosting its annual fundraising dinner "The Gospel Through Groceries."

The dinner will be held at The Manor at The Plantations with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. 

Tickets are $25 a person and can be obtained by mailing a check to P.O. Box 77009, Winter Garden, FL 37777-0009.
