West Orange Habitat for Humanity has received a $10,000 grant from State Farm, and the money will purchase building materials and supplies for constructing an affordable home in east Winter Garden.

The next house will be built for homebuyer partner Shannon Noggle and her two sons, Bradley and Zechariah. They have been living with family for the last few years, sharing rooms, beds and even a sofa while most of their belongings sat in storage.

Noggle has worked her way up from line cook to the manager at Chili’s in Winter Garden, and Habitat officials said she has brought the same work ethic and determination to her homeownership journey.
