Torchy's Tacos will open its second Orlando location in the space formerly occupied by Red Robin in Winter Garden Village next week.

The new location will host a grand opening event at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, at 3310 Daniels Road, Winter Garden.

The first 100 guests in line will receive a limited-edition Torchy's Tacos Winter Garden opening T-shirt. The T-shirt will grant the lucky taco junkie a year of free award-winning green chile queso each time they wear or bring it into the new location.

Please visit the location on social media for full details and guidelines.

“We’re very excited to continue our growth in Orlando with our Winter Garden location this spring,” Mike Rypka, CEO and founder of the business, said. “We hope to see many of our taco junkies and soon-to-be-fans at our grand opening!”

Torchy's Tacos is a popular chain restaurant known for serving Mexican street-food-style tacos in inventive varieties, including for breakfast.

The popular Texas-based scratch kitchen is known for its "Damn Good Tacos" and green chile queso.

The location will host a full bar, as well as a menu that includes tacos, salads, burritos, chips and queso, rice and beans, and sweets.

Dine-in, pick-up and online ordering will be available.

The first Orlando location opened in December in Altamonte Springs. A third Orlando location is underway in the Vineland area, which also is set to open this spring.

Torchy's Tacos will help host a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9:45 a.m. at the grand opening event in partnership with the West Orange Chamber of Commerce.

The business is searching for a school to partner with to "add some extra excitement to the day."

"Whether it's your band providing live entertainment, your cheerleading squad hyping up the crowd or your mascot teaming up with the Torchy’s (our mascot) for photo ops during the ribbon cutting, we're eager to collaborate with you to make this event unforgettable," business representatives shared on social media. "But wait, there's more! As a token of our appreciation for your support, we'd like to extend some special perks for all the teachers: a Torchy's Taco coupon so you can come and experience the deliciousness firsthand, a special delivery of chips and queso (and salsa & guac) for the school staff to enjoy, (and) we're also keen on organizing a fundraiser at our store to help raise funds for your school.

"Don’t miss out on these special perks for teachers and opportunities for school partnerships," Torchy's Tacos officials said. "Save the date, and join us for a day of fun and deliciousness!"
