A little more than a week after Daryl Tol unexpectedly resigned from his role as AdventHealth’s Central Florida Division’s president and CEO, Advent Health announced Thursday, Jan. 14, that Randy Haffner would be assuming the role beginning Feb. 1.

Currently Haffner serves as senior executive vice president for AdventHealth and president/CEO for the Multi-State Division, where he oversees the division's five regions, which includes 20 campuses across eight states according to a press release sent out by AdventHealth. Haffner also provides executive oversight for AdventHealth’s Leadership Institute and serves as chair of the Epic Steering Committee.

“I am honored, humbled and excited to come back to the Central Florida Division and serve alongside the amazing leaders, providers and team members who have truly risen to the occasion in the midst of a global pandemic,” said Haffner in a press release. “Ensuring the health and wholeness of our team and the safety of our patients is my top priority as we continue to extend Christ’s healing ministry and deliver whole-person care — every person, every time.”

With the new role, Haffner will lead the strategic direction, development and expansion of the division, which features 18 campuses across seven counties here in Central Florida.
