Axiom Bank is thanking the community for its efforts in supporting the organization’s hunger relief initiative during Hunger Action Month in September.

Axiom Bank Hamlin and other Axiom Banking locations hosted a food drive throughout the month to help locals in need, which we told you about here

During the month-long campaign, more than 1,000 non-perishable food items were dropped off at Axiom branch locations, and enough money was donated to provide more than 1,200 meals.

“It’s amazing to see our community come together in times of need, especially when we know that many of our neighbors have suffered tremendous financial loss due to the global pandemic," Jennifer Waddell, vice president in retail banking at Axiom Bank, said. "No one should have to worry about being able to have enough to eat.”
