Bank robbery

A Winter Park bank was robbed at about 4 p.m. Thursday, June 17.

Police say the suspect is a black male about 6 feet tall, with stocky build and 25-30 years old. He was wearing a plain white T-shirt, dark-colored pants and a baseball hat with a large “U” logo stitched onto it.

He fled the Wachovia Bank, at 631 S. Orlando Ave., in a taxi cab that had a passenger camera-monitoring system in it. In the taxi cab images released by Winter Park Police, he seems to realize he is being filmed.
