Baseball: West Orange enters USA Today national rankings at No. 13

The Warriors are 14-1 and may climb even higher in the next week's rankings.

WINTER GARDEN The West Orange baseball team is back in the national rankings as the Warriors (14-1) debuted in the USA Today "Super 25" Baseball Rankings at No. 13 March 16.

The rankings note that through the Warriors' first 12 games they had outscored opponents 124-26 and that senior Roberto Guillen is hitting .371 with 17 RBIs.

The rankings will be updated March 23, creating the possibility that the local program could inch closer to or even crack the top-10.

West Orange's sole defeat so far this season came in extra innings to Jacksonville's Trinity Christian.

The Warrior are currently participating in the  Central Florida Spring Break Slam, which the program helps to host along with rivals Apopka and Dr. Phillips.
