BREAKING NEWS: Ocoee police investigating suspicious death

The death occurred at a residence along Wurst Road Sunday, July 21.

The Ocoee Police Department is searching for a person of interest after a suspicious death Sunday, July 21.

Officers responded to the report of a suspicious death at 9:52 a.m. at the home located at 473 Wurst Road. At this time the deceased individual has only been identified as a Hispanic male and the cause of death is unknown.

Police are in search of 23-year-old Jose Luis Chavez — a person of interest who is believed to have been with the deceased individual at the time of his death.

More information is expected to be released in the coming days, according to the Ocoee Police Department.
