BREAKING NEWS: Suspect arrested after suspicious death in Ocoee

The Ocoee Police Department has arrested 23-year-old Jose Luis Chavez.

A suspect is in custody following a suspicious death in Ocoee Sunday, July 21.

The Ocoee Police Department arrested 23-year-old Jose Luis Chavez in connection with the death of 40-year-old Ocoee resident Rogelio Andrade Hernandez.

Detectives located Chavez at the Greyhound bus station on John Young Parkway at around 6:30 p.m. Sunday and apprehended him with the help of the Orlando Police Department.

Chavez has been charged with second degree murder and is being held in the Orange County Jail.

Earlier that day, officers responded to the report of a suspicious death at 9:52 a.m. at the home located at 473 Wurst Road in Ocoee.
