Bridgewater Middle Mathletes earn gold status

Under the direction and leadership of Ms. Evette Carrasquillo, the Bridgewater Middle School Mathletes earned the designation of a 2013-2014 Gold Level Club from the National Math Club.

The students earned the highest level of achievement after submitting a class project and presentation of the activities they have participated in this year.

The students were recognized as the Most Improved School during the Math Counts Competition Series earlier this year. After finishing 38th out of 40 schools last year, the students improved to 18th out of 40 schools. At the Orange County Mathematics competition, the sixth-grade team placed 6th out of 15 schools as a first-time participant.
