The Bach Festival Society of Winter Park is pleased to announce its 2010–2011 season. Come to just one or two concerts, or treat yourself monthly to this diverse selection of great classical music. The Pink Promise Smoothie is the first smoothie product developed in partnership to benefit Komen for the Cure. For every Pink Promise Smoothie sold, Planet Smoothie will donate $.50 to Komen for the Cure, with a minimum guaranteed donation of $100,000 in the first year of the partnership through May 31. Planet Smoothie in Winter Park is located at 415 N. Orlando Ave.

Fifth Third Banking Centers across Central and North Florida recently collected more than 5,300 pounds of food for the "Fight Hunger, Feed Dreams" food drive. The month-long initiative was part of the bank's annual celebration of "Fifth Third Day" on May 3. The collection benefited Harvest Time International, a nonprofit organization that provides assistance to those in need, locally and around the world.

Kara Rusnak of Winter Park, graduated in May with a bachelor's in Communication from Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, Ind.

The Camaraderie Foundation — an Orlando-based nonprofit that provides counseling support to military service members and their families — recently announced a "sweet" new partnership. True-Blue Treats, an Atlanta-based cookie company that bakes, designs and delivers patriotic desserts, has committed to donate 50 percent of profits directly to the Camaraderie Foundation. Enzian is now accepting donations for the scholarship fund for KidFest Young Filmmakers' Summer Camp. The camp, held July 26 through Aug. 1, enables 30 children entering grades 5-8 to experience, produce and study the art of filmmaking. More than 700 guests packed the Science Center as Cocktails & Cosmos hosted the premiere of The Ultimate Wave Tahiti on June 19. The film features world surfing champ and local hero Kelly Slater on his quest for the perfect wave. Kelly Branham, a resident of Winter Park and member of the class of 2012, has been named to the Dean's List at Providence College for the spring 2010 semester.

Florida's Tax Amnesty program will run from July 1 through Sep. 30. During this time period, taxpayers that owe past due taxes to the state can participate in tax amnesty — there will be no penalties and they can save up to one half of the interest due. EVOK Advertising and Vistamax Productions are celebrating their winning of a 2010 Telly award for the creation and production of the Sta-Max Plus television spot. The national male-enhancement commercial was created, filmed and edited within the state of Florida.

NAI Realvest recently negotiated two new lease agreements for industrial space totaling 29,620 square feet in Longwood. Robert Blackwell, SIOR principal at the firm, and associate Sean DuPree CCIM, represented Integrated RX Solutions of Longwood, the new tenant who leased 17,120 square feet for 66 months at 1205 Sarah St.

Jesus B. Lopez, M.D., was recently named the director of The Mayflower Retirement Community's geriatric on-site outpatient clinic. He is currently serving a fellowship in geriatrics at Florida Hospital in Orlando and has been a physician at the continuing care retirement community since 2009.
