Nursery gets accredited

The Winter Park Day Nursery has again been awarded accreditation by The National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education Programs.

Maitland-based Green Global Investments Inc. recently acquired International Care Management Services, an Ontario-based corporation, and International Care Management Services Ltd. Inc., a Washington state-based corporation.

The Children’s Surgery Center in Maitland is now more secure and sanitary due to a new access system. Staff members wear proximity cards that control staff access to specific areas within the Center.

NAI Realvest recently negotiated a new lease for 1,753 square feet of office space at 234 N. Westmonte Drive in Altamonte Springs. Michael Heidrich, a principal in the firm, represented the tenant, Brooks Design Studio, LLC.

Save-A-Lot is giving a $10,000 grant to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida’s Mobile Pantry program, which will reach more than 700 local families. The Central Florida sites will provide more than 40,000 meals.

The Rollins MBA has added new courses and updated core requirements for its Professional MBA program. The new courses, Business Communications and Critical Thinking, were created in response to research with local employers. Beginning in 2013 Professional MBA students will be required to take two applied courses: Global Research and Study Project and either Applied Entrepreneurship or Applied Leadership Development.
