Publix helps kids

Publix Super Markets customers and associates once again showed their immense support for local sick and injured kids treated at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital and Arnold Palmer Medical Center during the annual Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in-store fundraiser. This year’s campaign raised $273,058; a record amount and a 16 percent increase over 2012 totals.

Funds generated from the May 25 to June 14 campaign will help purchase patient care equipment, fund research, provide diversionary activities and support educational and advocacy programs for children's health.
