On Jan. 25, the Park Avenue Area Association hosted its annual member awards at the Meet & Greet. Members of the association voted and the results were shared for PAAA members in various categories:

Best Apparel Merchant- Tuni

Best Beauty Member- Gary Lambert Salon and Spa

Best Cultural Attraction Member- Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art

Best Restaurant/Specialty Food- The Ancient Olive

Best Gift/Specialty Store- Ten Thousand Villages

Best Professional Service Provider- Grafton Wealth Management at Merrill Lynch

Best Media/Publication- Winter Park Magazine

2011 Committee Chairman of the Year- Sarah Grafton DeVoe for Winter Park Sip & Stroll

Volunteer of the Year- Sarah Grafton DeVoe

The Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation elected Elizabeth Dvorak to its esteemed Board of Directors. Dvorak is chief executive officer and owner of Workscapes Inc.

Keep Winter Park Beautiful (KWPB) is now accepting Pocket Park Restoration Project grant applications. Winter Park neighborhood and community-based groups are encouraged to apply for funds to support physical improvements such as plantings, restoration, community gardens and other beautification projects in public spaces.
