Sip, shop and stroll with your sweetheart on Thursday, Feb. 6, from 5 to 8 p.m. Sip, Shop & Stroll events are a unique way to experience the variety of shops and restaurants in the Park Avenue area, discover new merchants, taste seasonal menus and shop for one-of-a-kind gifts. Date Night at Leu Gardens returns for 2014 on Feb. 7! Come see “Stuck in Love” (rated R) at 7:30 p.m. on one of the largest outdoor screens in Central Florida. Come early and enjoy a stroll in the 50-acre garden before the movie. Pack a dinner picnic basket and a blanket or chairs, alcohol is permitted. Grilled items, popcorn and drinks are available for purchase. Garden admission is $6 for adults and $3 for children (K-12th grade) and free for Leu Garden Members. Event is weather permitting. The Orlando Circle of Friends Chorus presents its fifth annual “LUV SUX” anti-Valentine’s Day fundraising cabaret that you’ll love. It’s a fun and naughty show about love lost, and how love just sucks sometimes, presented at the University Club of Winter Park at 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Feb. 8. Tickets are $25 and include your own personal bottle of champagne! Bring your friends, bring your exes, just don’t bring your kids! The evnet is open to only those age 21 and older. The Art & History Museums – Maitland (A&H) presents Culture Pop! Wild at Heart on Friday, Feb. 14, from 7 to 11 p.m. at the A&H’s Maitland Art Center, 231 W. Packwood Ave. Culture Pop is a unique one-night only pop-up exhibition of Central Florida’s fine artists and artisans. Join us in the A&H’s Main Garden for Wild at Heart, featuring artwork by Danielle DeGuglimo and Katherine Bennett. Join us this Valentine’s Day and view the artwork of DeGuglimo and Bennett, then stay until 11 p.m and hear jazz music by popular instrumentalist Dan Jordan, relax in the Mayan Lounge and enjoy music, food, and libations, and join us in the Packwood Avenue Reading room for readings by Brad and Darlyn Kuhn of Maitland Poets and Writers.
