The annual Winter Park Chamber of Commerce Membership Awards Celebration will honor State Rep. Dean Cannon, speaker of the Florida House of Representatives, as Winter Park’s Citizen of the Year. Special Olympics Florida and Aquatica are inviting the brave at heart to experience the “coolest” event of the year at Aquatica on Saturday, Jan. 22 at the second annual “Polar Plunge” benefiting Special Olympics Florida.
