Central Florida Preparatory School, a private non-profit preparatory school in Gotha, recently received a $2,000 grant from the Morgridge Family Foundation Share Fair Nation organization. The recipient, Robin Ureña, a teacher at the school, was chosen out of thousands of applicants.

The grant is for the enhancement of the school’s garden through the Nature Works Everywhere project, which is part of The Nature Conservancy program. Ureña said she is grateful for the opportunity to improve the garden. She is looking forward to teaching her students the link between science and nature. This is as an opportunity for her students to tend, learn and eat from their garden.
