Collective Kindness sells candles to support those affected by the Pulse shooting

Collective Kindness, a candle shop that operates a location out of the Plant Street Market, is giving back to the victims of the Pulse Orlando shooting. 

The mother-daughter duo of Leah Thompson and Liz Jennings are selling One Pulse Honor candles, which are intended to honor the victims of the shooting. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the candles will be divided between two places — the GLBT Community Center of Central Florida and Leonel Melendez, one of the survivors of the shooting who is still struggling for his life. 

“We hope that you can light this One Pulse candle in honor of those 49 lives lost, the 53 wounded and still fighting, their families and friends, and all the first responders and doctors,” Collective Kindness said in a Facebook post.
