Winter Park Benefit Shop seeking assistance

Winter Park Benefit Shop is in need of volunteers and donations. The shop sells clothing, household items and more at a very low price. If interested, please call Elizabeth at 407-647-8276. The shop, located at 140 W. Lyman Ave. in Winter Park, is open Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

SHINE in search of volunteers

Serving the Health Insurance Needs of Elders of Orange, Osceola and Seminole is seeking counselor volunteers with training sessions beginning in July. SHINE is an award-winning, statewide volunteer program that provides free, unbiased counseling and information for people on Medicare, their families and caregivers. Training will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Aug. 18. For more information and to register for the volunteer counselor training classes, call 407-514-1823.

BakerHostetler Orlando named to prestigious list

BakerHostetler Orlando is pleased to announce it achieved the top spot in the Large Company Division of the 2016 Orlando’s Best Places to Work rankings in the Orlando Business Journal. This is the first year BakerHostetler participated in the process. Employees responded to an anonymous online employee engagement survey with 37 questions on topics such as teamwork, job satisfaction and benefits.
