Mennello Museum receives largest donation in its history

The Mennello Museum of American Art announced last Tuesday that it has received its largest gift in the museum’s history from Palm Desert-based collector and philanthropist William E. Heyler, who passed away this past summer. The museum received $288,000 from The William E. Heyler Charitable Remainder Trust and from The William E. Heyler Trust, a gift of three paintings by artists Jane Peterson, Bernard Cathelin and Fleur Cowles for the permanent collection in honor of the Honorable Marilyn Logsdon Mennello. This amazing gift will help the museum advance and expand their offerings in their community in meaningful ways.
