Resident earns Doctor of Chiropractic degree

Winter Park resident Christina Whalen recently received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree during commencement exercises at Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida Campus, in Port Orange on March 24. She will establish a clinic in Altamonte Springs. To earn a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Dr. Whalen completed four-and-one-third academic years of professional study.

Local companies announce merge

Representatives from Mangold Security and CyberSurv announced last week that the two companies merged resulting in the formation of GoldSky Security, LLC. Mangold Security is an Orlando based cybersecurity consulting firm focused on solving small to mid-size business cybersecurity concerns in Central Florida. CyberSurv, based in Winter Park, provides a chief security officer as a service solution and has more of a global footprint across various industries. The merger came about as a result of the current explosive demand for cyber security services across various industries and the need for experienced security professionals to serve them.
