Non-profit opens Winter Park branch

American Armed Forces Mutual Aid Association has recently opened a Wealth Management branch in the Winter Park area. JFS Orlando kicks off food drive

Spring is in the air and it’s time to clean out your pantries! The JFS Orlando Restock Challenge is a food drive benefiting the Pearlman Emergency Food Pantry, running through May 6. Donate your non-perishable food items to restock their pantry shelves. Monetary donations are also very appreciated, with every $1 donated turning into $6 worth of purchasing power. Last year, JFS Orlando was able to provide nearly 65,000 meals to their hungry neighbors and we need your help again. Through the generosity of the Weiner Family & The Winter Park Wealth Group, they will match $0.25 for every pound of food donated up to $5,000! Drop off donations at the George Wolly Center, located at 2100 Lee Road in Winter Park. Established in 1978 as a non-profit human service agency, JFS Orlando provides social programs and services to children and families of all faiths in the Central Florida community.
