Winter Park officers graduate from leadership program

The Florida Criminal Justice Executive Institute recently announced the graduation of 28 senior executives from the 18th Senior Leadership Program at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, including Cpt. Jeff Biles and Cpt. Jon Askins with the Winter Park Police Department. Participants met for seven weeks over a 10 month period and graduated this week after taking classes on topics such as demographics, budgeting, and futures forecasting as it relates to criminal justice and strategic planning.
