The Orange County community is coming together to support a fellow citizen in need.

Former Orange County Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Stephen Davis, who we told you about here, was fired in October after he refused to reprimand unvaccinated firefighters.

Now, the community is banding together to offer assistance to Davis and his family during the holidays.

Steve's Pub Crawl will be hosted on Tuesday, Nov. 30, in order to raise funds for the Davis family.

Davis is a veteran of the U.S. Army and had 14 years of service and experience at the department.

Jason Wheat, firefighter's union member who worked with Davis for 14 years and has been with OCFRD for almost 17 years, said Davis will not have a job till sometime after the New Year, so any support would be appreciated.

The pub crawl will start at 7 p.m. at The Aardvark and travel towards Johnny's Fillin' Station, and Swirlery Wine Bar.

Tickets to the pub crawl can be purchased here
