Construction coming to Reams Road, Silverlake Park Drive roundabout

The roundabout at Reams Road and Silverlake Park Drive is getting some improvements.

Construction activities for the roundabout will be taking place from March 13 to 20. Traffic pattern changes are expected during construction and may include lane closures as well as nighttime and weekend work. Variable message boards will be placed near the roundabout before construction begins to provide updated information for specific construction activity dates.

The project will help increase capacity of the roundabout to accommodate larger traffic volumes by re-striping the current lane configuration to include dual right-turn lanes from Reams Road to Silverlake Park Drive. Also included in the project will be enhancements to the crosswalk on Reams Road to help increase pedestrian visibility.
